Barbara Bell started with a first-hand problem: a founder who wanted to feel safe without compromising on style, routine or convenience. And the more women we spoke to, the more familiar the story became.

The Smart Link vibrates as soon as an alert is sent, so you know it has worked, and you can cancel it from the app if you need to. Accidental triggers are unlikely, since it takes a firm double press on grooved buttons rather than a single touch.
The app shows you at a glance whether the clasp is connected and how much battery it has left. If your device disconnects suddenly, the app will notify you of this change.
Yes.
It is as accurate as your phone's location, usually pinpointing within 10 metres of your location. Your five contacts receive a text message with a live link they can open, so they can see where you are as it updates rather than just where you were when you pressed.
Yes, you choose those five people when you set up, and you can change them any time in the app.
Yes, the Smart Link can be added to any necklace with a compatible clasp attachment.

The Smart Link is water-resistant, and can withstand rain or splashing. We do not recommend fully submerging the product in water for prolonged periods of time.

Your jewellery communicates through your phone and app connection.
Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, using the same standards banks use. We store the minimum we need to make the product work. We are a UK company and we handle your data under UK GDPR. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties.
